Biography



Sameer Dharmadhikari model turn into popular TV actor. He has also acted in some Bollywood films, but he is better known for his performances on the small screen.

Career:
Sameer started his movie career with a Marathi film, Nirmala Machindra Kamble (1999).
Soon after he was seen in the Prakash Jha film, Dil Kya Kare (1999). The film was barely average.
He played a small role in the English film Quicksand (2002).
This was followed by Satta (2003), possibly one of his best works in Bollywood. The Madhur Bhandarkar film revolved around politics, where he played Vivek Chauhan, a politician. He married Raveena, and soon after displays his true colors. A negative role, he gave it his 100%.
He played the lead, along with Jimmy Shergill in the  movie Agni Pankh (2004).
The critically acclaimed Raincoat (2004) saw him play a small role as well.
He was also seen in other flop movies like Nigehbaan: The Third Eye (2005), Restaurant (2006), For Real (2006), Game (2007),
Sameer acted in the much acclaimed Rang rasiya (2008) and Mumbai Meri Jaan (2008).

Sameer Dharmadhikari in Jhansi Ki Rani – His Portrayal



Jhansi ki Rani Lakshmibai is a popular drama that was aired on Zee Network. Sameer Dharmadhikari was assigned the role of Gangadhar Rao, the husband of the legendary woman warrior Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. Although the show was mainly about the life and times of the warrior princess; Sameer Dharmadhikari had a crucial role to play too. His character Gangadhar Rao was very difficult for him to portray, according to an interview that the actor gave. The actor had to go through some serious lessons in classical Hindi so that he could imitate the royal accent well.
